Airlink set up a state-of-the-art smartphone assembly plant in Lahore. The idea was to promote ‘Made in Pakistan’ products and to create employment opportunities for skilled and unskilled labour. In 2021 our partnership with Xiaomi (the world’s third-largest smartphone brand) cemented that goal and we began local production of Xiaomi smartphones in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone in the country’s tech industry.

Building on this success, in 2024, AirLink secured a contract to produce Xiaomi TVs, further expanding its product offerings and reinforcing its commitment to technological advancement.

The total covered area of factory is 250,000 sqft with a production capacity of 8 million handsets (smartphones & feature phones) per year.

The TV production facility has a capacity of producing 120,000 to 180,000 units per year. Our production process is truly innovative as it uses AI based on man-machine integration which allows the system to control processes and quality without human intervention.
